Update: The 2020 game developers conference has been canceled/ delayed

In wake of the Coronavirus outbreak it seems Microsoft as well as others won’t be having any on-Site presence at the 2020 Game Developers Conference. But don’t worry Microsoft we’ll be holding a digital only event from March 16th – March 18th which we’ll showcase the sessions they had plan for the conference. Some things you can expect to hear about durning the even we’ll be next generation hardware ( Series X Specs just released a few days ago) and game development. In addition we’ll expecting to hear about cloud based technology and the next step in the streaming scene. We’re excited to hear from Rare and undead Labs and to see why they’ve been working on!

“After a close review of guidance by global health authorities and out of an abundance of caution, we’ve made the difficult decision to withdraw from participating at Game Developers Conference 2020 in San Francisco,” Microsoft said. “The health and safety of players, developers, employees, and our partners around the world is our top priority. Especially as the world is experiencing growing public health risks associated with coronavirus (COVID-19).”

Sony and Electronic Arts are some other major players who won’t be attending the 2020 Games Conference amidst Coronavirus fears.

Expect a list of times and evens for the digital only even to be released by Microsoft’s Game Stack Team. This article we’ll be updated when that list is available!
